Community Input Needed: Phoenix Climate Action Plan Framework

The Phoenix Climate Action Plan Framework is now posted on the Office of Environmental Program's website. There is also a link on the website for you to comment on the Framework. The Framework will be available for public comment through December 31, 2020.

The city hosted a workshop on October 14th focused on greenhouse gas emissions and climate and asked what ideas and concerns were uppermost in the community's mind. We had excellent dialogue and will continue to engage with Phoenicians as we move forward with Climate Action Planning.

The Office of Environmental Programs will be providing an informational presentation to the Transportation, Infrastructure, and Innovation Council Subcommittee in November detailing the planning process. Another workshop will be scheduled before the end of the year as well as more robust workshops in January and February. We are in the process of completing the modeling of our pathway to zero and will be sharing this information in the next few months. The results of this modeling will help us make better informed decisions.
