Resource: City of Phoenix Tenant Eviction Assistance Program

Please see the attached press release, forms, and flyers regarding the expiration of the Governors Executive Order 2020-49, and what this means for tenants currently protected under this order. The order protected tenants from eviction due to nonpayment rent resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Tenants who previously received the delay under the Governor’s Order, but who want to extend the delay until December 31, 2020, must provide their landlord a Declaration under the CDC Order if they have not done so already.

Please note that tenants may still be evicted for reasons not related to nonpayment.

Tenants who live in Phoenix can receive legal advice or assistance by calling the City of Phoenix Tenant Eviction Assistance Program (TEAP) administered by Community Legal Services at (602) 385-8880.
